“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.” (Mark 11:22)
Have faith in God; cast your care upon Him: He knows your need and will provide.
“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” (Matthew 6:25)
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6)
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
In Heb 11:6, Paul stresses the importance of faith: “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” And in 1 Corinthians 13:13, we find that faith is one of the greatest gifts and it is the means by which we receive grace and come into right relationship with God (Ephesians 2:8–9). Romans chapter 5, we find that we have been justified through faith, that we belong to God and have peace with Him (Romans 5:1). And we find, in Romans 5:2 that faith is the doorway to hope in God. And because we have faith in God, we can take comfort in Paul’s words in v3-5 concerning our sufferings and tribulation: our suffering need not keep us down, because we know we can persevere under it with a strong faith. In 1 John 5:4 we read that all believers have this promise: “Everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.“
