God – Not a Triune God
“I am the Lord, and there is none else; there is no God beside me” (Isaiah 45:5)
So God, and the Spirit that comes from God, are both one. God is the center and glorious substantial form of the Spirit that fills heaven and earth.
“The Lord God, and His Spirit, hath sent me” (Isaiah 48:16).
This phrase used by the world to show that Christ is God.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
“The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God” (Isaiah 10:21).
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure” (Isaiah 46:9-10)
“Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any” (Isaiah 44:6, 8).
