Isa. 21:11 says, ‘Watchman, what of the night?’ He says ‘The morning cometh,’ this is at the time when the glorified man multitude asks Israel’s watchman the question from out of Seir. Jesus, speaking of this evening, the end of it which is darkest, “And at midnight there was a cry raised, Behold the bridegroom cometh,’ (Matt. 25:1). And in 1 Thess. 5:2, and 2 Pet. 3:10, Christ is said to come “as a thief in the night.’”
