The Promise Given to Abraham Isaac & Jacob
“I called him (Abraham) alone, and blessed him, and increased him. For the Lord shall comfort Zion … The isles shall wait upon Me, and on Mine arm shall they trust (Isaiah 51:2-5).
“This people (the seed of Abraham, My friend) have I formed for Myself: they shall shew forth My praise” (Isaiah 43:21).
“But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend” (Isaiah 41:8).
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:7).
“And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious” (Isaiah 11:10).
